Location: Walbridge, Ohio (open to 100% traveling)  Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000+ annually, based on experience and qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 12–15 years of experience in the construction industry and project management
  • Proven history of managing large commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Strong computer skills relevant to construction project management
  • Knowledge of safety best practices and procedures
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Ability to travel out-of-state for the duration of projects
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, pivot with unexpected changes, and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive:

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience with various contract delivery methods
  • Strategic planning and implementation experience
  • Ability to build and lead cohesive teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Situational awareness and crisis management capabilities
  • Experience identifying client needs and managing projects from concept to completion

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Outline key tasks and expectations for the role:

  • Oversee and manage large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Develop and implement strategies for timely and cost-effective project completion
  • Provide regular project status updates to Construction Operations leadership
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards through inspections and QA/QC processes
  • Resolve construction challenges and prevent delays
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Participate in strategic and operational initiatives to support company growth
