Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; preferably experience in communicating complex
scientific information to a lay audience.
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated, flexible, and able to prioritize.
• Must be able to interact comfortably and productively with internal staff, principal investigators,
postdoctoral fellows, and external constituents at all levels.
• Ability to innovate and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to think strategically as well
as operationally.
• Ability to function effectively in a close-knit team environment.
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Foundation Relations Officer
Remote
Contract – 6-12 months

Work in collaboration with faculty and Whitehead Fellows on grants in progress at all stages, from cultivation to solicitation via grant proposals and reporting.

Oversee all aspects of grants management including drafting letters of inquiry, drafting cover letters, coordinating the submission of materials, and drafting stewardship reports.

Take primary responsibility for tracking communications with donors and prospects via Raisers Edge (donor management software).
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; preferably experience in communicating complex
scientific information to a lay audience.
