3 plus year HR Experience

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: 
 
Provides a high level of support, including policy guidance to management and employees on the full array of human resources practices. Maintains confidentiality at all times.
 
Participates in the weekly new hire orientation and exit meetings.
 
Coaches managers and supervisors to manage by policies. Identifies skills and performance gaps; recommends solutions for the best course of action.
 
Assists with employee relations; conducts fact-findings to ensure compliance with company policy and federal, state, and local employment laws; timely completes investigation reports.
 
Supports organizational-wide initiatives such as employee engagement initiatives; supports site leadership development at all levels.
 
Evaluate the organizations' culture and works with Senior HRBP and management to ensure culture is aligned with the organization's vision, values and goals, and objectives.
 
Chairs the employee events committee to help enhance employee engagement.
 
Designs, implements and administers effective and high-quality HR processes and procedures to meet required needs and objectives. Regularly measures and reports on results.
 
Responsible for regularly evaluating the organizations’ culture and works with organization(s) management and HR Senior Manager to assure culture is aligned with vision, values and goals and objectives of the organization(s)
 
Knowledge of leadership skills and techniques with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead others toward the accomplishment of individual and shared objectives
 
Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to successful closure; persists despite obstacles and opposition.
 
Anticipates customer needs; takes action to meet customer needs; continually searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction.
 
Handles day to day work challenges confidently; able to adjust multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid changes; shows resilience in the face of constraints, frustrations, or adversity; demonstrates flexibility.
 
Generates new ideas; goes beyond the status quo; recognizes the need for new or modified approaches; brings perspectives and approaches together, combining them in creative ways.
 
Supports the development of leadership at all levels throughout their organizations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
 
Knowledge of leadership skills and techniques with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead others toward accomplishing individual and shared objectives.
 
Knowledge of Human resources methods and practices as would normally be acquired through attainment of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related subject from an accredited college or university plus at least five years’ experience working in at least two functional areas of Human Resources, specifically employee relations.
 
Professional certification preferred (PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
 
Knowledge of and skills in interpreting and applying State and Federal Labor laws relating to employment and regulations including Title VII, EEO, ADA, FMLA, CFRA and workers’ compensation
 
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, schedule, and successfully carry out multiple projects at the same time to successful conclusion
 
Significant achievements in implementing best practices HR systems and programs in current and prior positions
 
Ability to be effective as member of a collaborative management team
 
Knowledge of equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements
 
Knowledge of HRIS and experience with HRIS systems
 
Exceptional written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills include interacting with and establishing trust and credibility with all levels of the organization.
