Job Description

  • Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
  • Report to the COO and provide administrative support
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
  • Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
  • Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems
  • Manage Purchase Requests and create internal Purchase Orders
  • Manage accounts payables, accounts receivables and tax compliance
  • Receive, record, physical bank deposit of customer checks
  • Follow up on overdue invoices
  • Process vendor payments
  • Provide support as liaison with external bookkeeping and finance firms
  • Manage tasks related to employee benefits such as updating 401k payroll journal
  • Manage onboarding of new employees
  • Assist with preparing quarterly financial statements for investors including managing inventory counts

Qualifications
  • Bachelors' Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent business degree or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
