Job Description

Social Excellence Lead                           

Reporting to Medical Affairs Digital Enablement, the Social Excellence Lead will play a pivotal role in the enterprise medical approach to social listening, engagement and insights to inform the strategy, delivery and evaluation of medical affairs activities. 

The successful candidate will work with Medical Affairs leaders to develop and refine queries to analyze the social media ecosystem.   They will synthesize observable trends and findings into insightful summaries to be used by Medical Affairs to make decisions, and will lead the strategic listening approach for conferences and congresses.

  
Design and Deliver Social Media Listening Solutions

?     Work closely with global/regional/local Medical Affairs and Analytics teams to develop and execute an effective, scalable social listening engagement strategy

?     Deliver social listening reports to inform medical strategy around congresses and key events. 

?     Optimize the utilization of social media listening tools to drive innovation in reporting and insights

?     Support medical teams with incorporating outputs into engagement plans 
Subject Matter Expert for Online Channels

?     Act as the primary contact for the social listening platform vendor(s) translating medical needs into actionable data and insights

?     Keep up to date with external trends, healthcare and user needs to influence internal strategy, enable new use cases and working models, and ensure continued impact on organizational activities. 
Governance 

?     Accountable for project specific medical governance, ensuring compliance with SOPs, expectations and values.

?     Ensure oversight, project management and delivery of social listening projects, setting milestones and digital KPIs to monitor medical impact and value. 

 

Essential Requirements:

?     Bachelor’s degree in science or business 

?     Experienced in social listening and in social listening tools

?     Highly knowledgeable about social media and social channels including Twitter, Facebook, blog forums.

?     Working knowledge and experience in the biopharmaceutical industry

?     Strong analytical mind-set and ability to quickly assess large amounts of information and distill into key insights and recommended actions

?     Excellent project management skills  

 

Desirable Requirements:

?     An advanced medical or business qualification

?     Experience with business analytics

?     Leadership of change management programs  

Pay Range 50-65/hr
Salary will be commensurate with experience
