Job Description
Our client is looking for an Environmental Regional Business Manager who will support Operations, other Regional Business Managers, and Group Leaders. They will work together to develop business, cross sell service lines, manage human capital, train, and provide leadership across the organization.
Corporate Level
Regional Business Managers will share responsibilities with the VP Operations to manage and oversee regional office locations and groups. Regional Business Manager Authority over Group Leaders is primarily related to financial metrics such as WIP, A/R, Group Costs, Multipliers, and general business management.
Regional Business Managers have responsibility in 3 primary areas:
Corporate Level
- Champion company business development; the individual should have an established client base and a reasonable book of business
- Interact with Business Development and Marketing to develop and implement a business development plan and create market awareness across target markets and regions.
- Support company and revenue projection and budgeting process with ownership, senior management, the Director of Operations and other Regional Business Managers.
- Establish and implement company standards, best practices, templates, and QA/QC for service disciplines.
- Support Human Resources including hiring, mentoring, and reinforcing AKT Peerless’ commitment to client satisfaction, responsiveness, and quality of work product while reinforcing the company culture of quality of work life, family, commitment, and, integrity.
- Support proposal development, project work flow, and facilitate communication, client-consultant interaction, and prioritize client business development activities at the group Level.
- Further the development of expertise and training throughout company service lines at the Group Level.
- Mentor and train Group Leaders (Supervisors).
