Epicor Developer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Epicor Developer to join an innovative medical device manufacturing company. As an Epicor Developer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and customizing the Epicor ERP system to meet the unique needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Epicor development, a deep understanding of the medical device manufacturing industry, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance their ERP capabilities.
Responsibilities:
  1. Epicor Customization and Development:
    • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the Epicor ERP platform to support the specific requirements of our medical device manufacturing processes.
    • Customize and extend Epicor functionality through the creation of Business Activity Queries (BAQs), Business Process Management (BPM), Dashboards, and other Epicor tools.
  1. Integration:
    • Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless communication between Epicor and other business applications, such as manufacturing execution systems and quality management systems.
    • Develop and maintain interfaces to integrate Epicor with third-party systems critical to our medical device manufacturing operations.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure that Epicor configurations and customizations adhere to regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the medical device manufacturing industry.
  1. Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Epicor-related issues, working closely with end-users and IT support teams to ensure system stability and performance.
  1. Documentation:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for customizations, integrations, and development activities.
    • Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and enhancements to the Epicor environment.
  1. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with business analysts, manufacturing teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand unique business processes within the medical device manufacturing environment.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of Epicor solutions that align with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  1. Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong experience with Epicor ERP development tools, including Epicor Kinetic, ICE (Epicor Customization Tools), BAQ, BPM, and Epicor SDK.
    • Proficient in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, and SQL.
  1. Medical Device Manufacturing Experience:
    • Previous experience in Epicor development within the medical device manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory compliance in the medical device sector.
  1. Problem Solving:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  1. Communication:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  1. Education and Certifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Epicor certifications (such as Epicor 10 Development or similar) are a plus.
