CAD Drafter
6 months - contract to hire
Pay Rates: $25 - 30 per hour
Location: Ann Arbor office, full-time 5 days a week, in office

CAD Drafter
Summary
- Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software and under direct supervision of other technicians of professional staff
- Proficiency in use of computer-aided design software and ability to work well with others required.
- Plant design, piping systems work - modeling piping systems.
- Candidate should be able to display attention to detail and good organization skills.
- Technician will work closely under the direction of professional engineers and staff.
- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- 1 -3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
- mechanical drafting skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- Previous experience with Inventor for Substation 3D preferred.
- Experience with MicroStation, Autocad and working with utility type drawings a plus
- Navisworks and Revit HUGE plus
- 3D modeling HUGE plus
