Job Description

The part-time Performance Management Specialist will help advance our organizational goals by enhancing employee performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing performance management processes, developing resources, refining communication strategies, and improving reporting mechanisms. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Management Process Execution:
    • Support the performance management process to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Influence resource development, Workday reporting refinement, and communication strategy/execution to support the performance management annual review and goal setting processes.
  2. Written Communications
    • Design and implement comprehensive feedback and goal setting resources for employees and managers, including one pagers, presentations, and emails.
    • Oversee program administration and execution of Performance Management Overview/drop-in sessions with HRIS and People Strategy partnership.  Deliver program sessions tailored to audience needs and measure success.
    • Develop and refine resources to support performance management and talent development initiatives.
    • Ensure resources are accessible, relevant, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  3. Collaboration and Partnership:
    • Build strong relationships with internal communication, people strategy and HRIS stakeholders to ensure alignment with annual performance review and goal setting processes and support.
  4. Workday Management:
    • Collaborate with HRIS, Talent Management, and key stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues during testing and launch phases.
    • Provide feedback for system improvements.
    • Be front-line customer support. Helping our staff members with questions they have on the annual review and goal setting processes.
    • Help with system testing as needed.
  5. Project Management
    • Track project metrics, risks, and progress towards desired outcomes.
  6. Reporting & Action Planning
    • Partner with HRIS to refine reporting mechanisms to provide clear insights into performance management outcomes.
    • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
    • Develop insights based on trends and progress.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years' experience in HR/Talent Development/Learning & Development
  • Proven experience in performance management programs. Experience in designing resources related to feedback, goal setting, and annual reviews.
  • Strong experience with Workday is a required.
  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
  • Pay range is $40-45/hr.
