iCIMS Transformation / Implementation SME

Remote with Occasional Bay Area Collaboration | Long-Term Contract Opportunity

We're partnering with an enterprise organization undergoing a major Talent Acquisition technology transformation and seeking an experienced iCIMS Transformation / Implementation SME to play a key role in a large-scale ATS modernization initiative.

This is an ideal opportunity for a senior-level consultant or transformation leader who thrives in fast-paced, highly visible environments and enjoys guiding organizations through complex HR technology change. You'll act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, helping lead a transformation from design through execution while partnering closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and leadership.

The ideal candidate is proactive, consultative, and comfortable taking ownership, driving alignment, and influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a large-scale Applicant Tracking System (ATS) transformation
  • Partner with business stakeholders, leadership, and delivery teams to drive successful implementation outcomes
  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on leadership throughout the full transformation lifecycle:
    • Design
    • Configuration
    • Testing
    • Deployment
    • Post-go-live support
  • Facilitate:
    • Conference Room Pilots (CRPs)
    • Design workshops
    • Stakeholder meetings
    • Client-facing project discussions
  • Help translate recruiting and talent acquisition requirements into scalable system solutions
  • Drive clarity, alignment, and stakeholder engagement across complex workstreams
  • Support testing efforts, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and deployment readiness
  • Partner with technical and functional teams to improve recruiting workflows, integrations, and system adoption
  • Challenge constructively and proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
What We're Looking For Required Experience
  • Strong experience supporting Recruiting / ATS transformation programs
  • Deep hands-on experience with iCIMS strongly preferred
  • Experience with Taleo or similar ATS platforms is highly valuable
  • Prior experience in roles such as:
    • Implementation SME
    • Functional Lead
    • Deployment Lead
    • Project Manager
    • Transformation Consultant
  • Experience facilitating:
    • CRPs
    • Design workshops
    • Client-facing implementation discussions
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Recruiting processes
    • Talent acquisition workflows
    • ATS integrations
    • Testing and deployment lifecycles
  • Experience supporting:
    • Change management
    • UAT
    • Cutover planning
    • Post-go-live stabilization
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with Systems Integrator (SI) partners or large-scale enterprise transformation programs
  • Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience
  • Background in enterprise HR technology implementations
