Job Description
Technology Lead- Ecommerce (SAP Commerce, Backend Development)
What you bring: Extensive large-scale eCommerce experience and great communication skills. Strong Ecommerce platform experience, ideally with SAP Commerce Cloud. Strong backend development and integration experience.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent, 100% remote position in EST time zone.
Salary: $170K to $190K (15% bonus potential based on performance)
Hours: 8 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Location: 100% remote

Key Responsibilities
- Lead agile delivery of ecommerce platforms and core services
- Design and build backend services, APIs, and enterprise integrations
- Own integrations across SAP, Salesforce, Okta, and marketing systems
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with Experience Engineering and DevOps teams
- Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvement
- Apply AI-assisted development practices to enhance productivity
- Build and lead a focused, high-performing engineering team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in technical leadership roles
- Strong backend development, API design, and integration experience
- Experience with large-scale B2B/B2C ecommerce platforms (search, catalog, cart, checkout)
- Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Preferred) or Shopify Plus, Magento, CommerceTools
- Experience integrating Salesforce, SAP, identity, and marketing systems
- Experience incorporating AI (ChatGPT/Codex) into SDLC
- Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and Agile practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Headless CMS and composable architecture experience
- Event driven architecture or middleware experience
- Cloud experience (AWS or similar)
- SAP BTP experience
