Job Description
Job Title: Facilities Coordinator
Location: Seattle, WA
Contract Length: 6 Months
Pay Range: $40/hr - $42.5/hr (DOE)
The Planet Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Facility Coordinator to support day?to?day facility operations and maintenance. This role is responsible for coordinating vendors, ensuring smooth facility services, and building reliable facilities and operations tracking systems. The ideal candidate brings strong operational experience, attention to detail, and a hands?on approach to problem?solving.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in facilities operations or a related role
- Certification in Facility Management or a related field will be preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain facilities and operations tracking systems
- Strong problem?solving and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail with a structured, process?driven mindset
- Knowledge of industry best practices in facility management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily facility operations and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers (maintenance, repairs, utilities, etc.)
- Ensure timely completion of facility-related work and service requests
- Build, maintain, and update facilities and operations tracking systems
- Track maintenance schedules, service logs, and vendor performance
- Identify and resolve facility issues efficiently and cost?effectively
- Support emergency or after?hours facility needs when required
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners regarding facility needs
