Job Description
Technical Inside Sales Consultant
Growing company in the building products / fabrication industry is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Consultant to support customers via phone, email, and occasional in-person interaction. This role involves preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating with production, and supporting customers throughout the order lifecycle.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 3+ years of experience in a sales or customer support environment preferred
* A four-year degree may be considered in lieu of experience
* Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction materials, or related environments is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to customer inquiries and prepare quotes using CRM tools
* Assist customers with scheduling, order changes, and post-order support
* Coordinate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
* Verify pricing and incoming material quality
* Promote additional products and services when appropriate
* Resolve customer concerns related to products, services, or billing
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
Compensation:
* $23-$30/hour depending on experience
