Marketing Project Manager
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% remote)
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Duration: 2 Months
Pay: $82/hr - $85.82/hr (DOE)
The Planet Group is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing and go to market initiatives.
Marketing Project Manager Qualifications:
- Experience in Marketing Project Management, Marketing Operations, or GTM Project Management
- Strong coordination skills in cross functional environments
- Working knowledge of Jira or similar project management tools
- Experience supporting Agile / sprint-based execution
- Clear written and verbal stakeholder communication
- Ability to operate without formal authority, using influence and structure
Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross functional marketing initiatives across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales, and GTM teams
- Maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies, and risks using tools such as Jira
- Track execution of campaigns, launches, and marketing initiatives
- Facilitate stand ups, planning sessions, and status updates
- Ensure clear visibility into progress, blockers, and risks for stakeholders
- Proactively identify execution issues and escalate to responsible owners
- Support Agile and sprint-based marketing workflows
- Operate within established governance, processes, and tools
