Accounting Clerk
Contract at least 6 months, potential for extension
Onsite - Edina, MN

Hourly rate: $22.00-23.00/hr

Must have:
Bachelors degree (could be open to an Associates degree)
Experience of some kind working with checks


This national organization is transitioning its office to its new location in Edina, MN. As well, they are in the process of working to move all of their customers to a new pay system. However there are many payors that are still sending in checks and AR letters. This role will play an important part in making sure these checks are deposited and tracked to the correct business unit and also to track into the business units the AR letters that may be coming in. 

Work flow will include:
Opening the mail with checks and letters that are received.
Checks need to be deposited and scan/save images in Salesforce to correct business unit
Letters need to be researched for correct business unit and scan/save images into Salesforce to correct business unit
Could also be asked to maintain a tracking document of payors that need to contact from Billing/AR team for contact regarding W-9 information and request to move to EFT payment

This process is critical and will be done daily. Should not take more than 1-2 hours typically a day.

After this work is completed they are going to have this person shift to help support their Michigan AR team with their cash postings.
