Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Schedule: 40 hours
Duration: 6 months with potential to extend
Pay: $26-$28.94 DOE

The Planet Group is looking for People (HR) Operations Administrator to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-month contract, working an onsite schedule out of Atlanta, GA. 

People (HR) Operations Administrator | Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience with HR administration or HR/People Operations.
  • Ability to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement.
  • Experience supporting deadline driven operational work with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with HR software and cloud-based HR technology (SuccessFactors and ServiceNow ideal).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with employees at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork, transparency, and open communication.
  • Helpfulness and the ability to go above and beyond to deliver a great employee experience.
  • Resourcefulness with problem-solving, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions.
  • Proactive and willing to learn and embrace technology to improve employee experience and how we get our work done.
  • Basic working knowledge of United States labor laws and employment policies.
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work from our Atlanta office at least two times a week.
  • Three years of experience with HR administration or HR/People Operations.
  • Experience drafting or reviewing employment agreements and contracts.
  • Knowledge of Visa & I-9 processing, employment verification, benefits administration, and payroll reporting and inputs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience in People Operations.
  • Professional HR certifications such as PHR, SHRM?CP, or equivalent are a plus.

People (HR) Operations Administrator | Description:

  • Utilize ServiceNow to support employee and manager inquiries on Tier 1 People related matters and how to navigate systems and processes: escalating as appropriate.
  • Act as a day-to-day owner and power user of ServiceNow for People Operations case intake, triage, and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records across HR and Global Mobility systems, ensuring strong data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Support workflows within SuccessFactors, partnering with HR COEs and IT on enhancements and releases.
  • Support internal and external audit requests related to SOX controls.
  • Ad hoc requests and support.
  • Support global mobility and employment work authorization processes, including monitoring visa expirations and escalating time sensitive actions.
  • Review immigration and employment documentation for interns, early career hires, and employees to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Conduct Form I-9 verifications and reverifications, supporting ongoing audit readiness and federal compliance.
  • Review, scan, and route immigration related mail, government correspondence, and legal notices with discretion and urgency.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of People processes.
  • Maintain trackers, dashboards, and operational tools to support audits and reporting.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools, responsibly, to improve documentation, case handling, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with benefits-related inquiries, documentation, and data updates across HR systems with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and employee experience.
  • Support Benefits audits, reconciliations, and reporting as needed, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
