Merchandising Information Analyst
Location: Beaverton, OR
Contract length: ~3 months
Schedule: Hybrid in Beaverton, OR (WFH Fridays)
Pay: $30-35.34/hr, DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Merchandising Information Analyst to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 3-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR, working remotely on Fridays. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in and exposure to people management, as they will provide input on behalf of others, maintaining a finger on the pulse of the team.
Merchandising Information Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, two additional years of work experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 2 years overall experience
- Relevant experience in a Product, Merchandising, Retail Buying is strongly preferred but not required
- Ability to work both independently and in groups, balancing multiple priorities at once to meet tight deadlines
- Experience leading projects and evolving processes
- Open to learning/trying new things, exhibiting information seeking skills with a drive for results
- Effective at communicating to diverse audiences and skilled at translating and relaying information
- Capable of eliciting connection between functions to enable execution
- Experience and comfort in navigating ambiguity
- Possesses analytical skills and experience with quantitative functions
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Skilled at working collaboratively to solve problems
Merchandising Information Analyst Description:
- Play a key role within the APLA Merchandising Business Integration Team through accurate input and maintenance of all line plan data
- Communicate updated information in a timely manner
- Manage the product line across multiple systems
- Develop an understanding of the architecture of the line, consumer, marketplace and country construct and assortment process
- Play an elevated role with a focus on leadership, creative problem solving and best practice sharing
- Thought-partner, recap and share direction related to new processes and tools
- Act as the point of contact to answer daily operations questions
- Escalate issues, trouble-shooting and offering ideas/solutions
- Manage a portion of the APLA product line & be the first line of support for your Geo Sport & Territory Merchants
