Job Description
Job Title: Front-End Software Engineer
Location: Remote (US-based)
Pay Rate: $65-70 per hour (W2 only terms)
Duration: 6-month contract (40 hours per week, potential extension)
We are seeking a talented Front-End Software Engineer to join a high-impact product development team. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoy building scalable, user-facing applications. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in modern web development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality code in an agile setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Haves)- 4+ years of professional, hands-on software development experience
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript (ES6)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in at least one front-end framework: React, Angular, Vue, Polymer, or LIT
- Strong knowledge of CSS and building responsive web applications
- Experience working with HTTP APIs, REST, and related protocols
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, caching, and scalable data storage
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams
- Experience with GraphQL or Thrift
- Familiarity with Web Components
- Background designing and implementing maintainable APIs
- Prior mentorship or leadership experience within engineering teams
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build new features and user-facing functionality
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback
- Maintain high code quality standards while delivering in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to engineering best practices and help improve team workflows
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
