WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN - IMMEDIATE HIRE
Pay: $18-20/hr
Contract-to-Hire: 6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm (regular overtime expected when working off site)
Occasional Saturdays: 7:00am–1:00pm, paid at OT rates
Location: Royse City, TX

A growing environmental services facility is seeking Warehouse Technicians who want steady work, reliable hours, and don’t mind rolling up their sleeves. This is a hands-on, physical role in an open-air warehouse environment. Ideal for someone who enjoys active work and learning new skills on the job.

General Warehouse & Field Support

• Handle, package, load, and prepare various waste materials, including hazardous and non-hazardous items, lab packs, e-waste, and batteries.
• Assist in consolidating fluids into larger containers for processing and shipment.
• Load and unload trucks and maintain accurate inventory using internal tracking software.
• Follow established packaging guidelines, safety protocols, and disposal procedures.
• Perform basic housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of work areas.

Field Assignments

• Support homeless camp and community cleanup efforts 1–2 days per week.
• Participate in weekend Household Hazardous Waste collection events as needed.
• Travel to off-site locations using company vehicles (departing from the main facility).

Safety & Compliance

• Wear and remove personal protective equipment properly (gloves, mask, sleeves, apron, etc.).
• Comply with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and internal safety and environmental regulations.
• Complete required physicals, respirator fit testing, and ongoing safety training.

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in learning the hazardous waste field.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to work overtime regularly.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to bend, lift, walk, and stand throughout the day.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Steel-toe boots required; other protective gear provided.
• Must be clean-shaven when respirator use is required.

• Involves handling liquids such as paints, oils, and solvents—expect a physically demanding and sometimes dirty job.
• Casual work attire acceptable (short-sleeved shirt, jeans, non-offensive clothing).
