Marketing Assistant II
Location: Remote
Schedule: 30 hours/Week
Duration: 6 months with potential to extend
Pay: $38-$40 DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Marketing Assistant II to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-month contract, working a remote schedule.
Marketing Assistant II | Qualifications:

- 2 - 5 years of experience.
Marketing Assistant II | Description:
- Responsible for assisting Marketing and Creative Teams in the development and execution of promotion programs.
- Maintain and proof files, process system paperwork, manage print quantities.
- Assist with the maintenance and management of monthly product inventory reports.
- Help with requests, ensuring requests are submitted, tracked and shipped in a timely manner.
- Packing and shipping, assist with creating Power Point presentations, internal research.
Editorial support [30%]
- Lead the creation and maintenance of monthly editorial calendars that guide US teams and inform global editorial strategy
- Create all Quip templates and story EIs, plus build app and game collection EIs. Archive monthly content.
- Coordinate with editors to receive invoice approvals for line items, generate monthly summaries.
- Maintain resourcing tab: track stories by DRI and design DRI for fast track and bundle.
- Facilitate the maintenance of all US editorial content ensuring ongoing support for recommendable efforts.
- Lead biweekly meeting, and attend additional meetings, to review stories for the upcoming week and ensuring that editorial and production are aligned on programming. Support for priority live kickoff, cover story syncs, IAE stories, etc.
- Maintain resourcing tab: track stories by DRI and design DRI for fast track and bundle.
- Attend fast track pitch meetings to discuss potential upcoming Fast Track stories. Send out New Fast Track Story
- Kick off emails. Organize and update Fast Track trackers, confirming run dates and story status are accurate.
- Prepare and send out Friday programming emails.
- Program story visibility dates.
- Maintaining security settings for confidentiality.
- Update and maintain Programming Instructions.
