Location: Candidates can be local or Full Remote Nationwide as long as they can reliably work EST Hours.
Employment Type:6 Month Contract
Pay Rate: 60-62/hr
Hours: 40/week, standard business hours
About:
- Seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Global Planning team. This position will work with Global Planning in a strategic and tactical role to deliver both functional and technical system solutions for our Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP functions. The Business Systems Analyst will work collaboratively with the business and with IT to recommend system enhancements that align with business goals and company objectives. The Analyst will be responsible for the administration of Anaplan as the company Global Planning solution: documenting business requirements, building Anaplan models to support requirements, validating system designs through rigorous testing of solutions and documentation of results, and development and maintenance of end-user and technical documentation. The Business Systems Analyst will create work instructions for business processes and will deliver training to functional users of the systems around the world. In addition to the Anaplan administration and build, the Senior Analyst will design, create, and maintain global reporting in Tableau or other reporting tools to support the consumption of the Global Planning data. This role is critical to the success of the Global Planning team and will play a very large role in delivering planning capability to help facilitate company growth.
Skills:
- Manage the Anaplan platform for Supply Chain Planning. Develop new models, enhance existing models, perform administration activities, and be the single point of contact to the global Anaplan Planning community
- Serve as System Administrator for Anaplan models. Provide the first level of support to the team for all system issues. Interact with third-party partners and Anaplan support as needed to address model issues
- Work closely with the Global Planning business leads to understand and document critical business issues, needs, and requirements. Recommend Anaplan system solutions to address the requirements. Support the design, development, and validation efforts through to completion, and create and maintain user documentation
- Develop business intelligence reporting in Tableau or other reporting tools for the Global Planning team to include Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP. Ensure reports are flexible yet easy to understand and maintain
- Create and maintain a depository of documentation. Manage all documentation efforts and ensure documentation is current and distributed as needed. Included in this documentation are test scripts and plans
- Manage Global Planning testing and validation efforts to include Anaplan, Excel, and Reporting tools at a minimum. Ensure testing is done consistently and develop repeatable testing processes
- Manage the Global Planning issues priority list and collaborate closely with the Client IT community and Global Supply Chain Solutions team to complete and validate items on a timely basis. Participate in the annual AOP process representing Global Planning
- Represent the Global Planning team in Client projects which have interactions with Global Planning tools and processes
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of business experience with a focus on Supply Chain preferred
- 5+ years of Anaplan model building and Tableau or Power BI experience preferred
- Advanced experience with MS Excel. Ability to manipulate large data sets and highlight variances to team members
- Proven experience with data testing and validation best practices. Ability to create repeatable validation processes and present results to management
- Experience with planning tools (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management). Implementation experience required
- Ability to communicate well throughout the organization, both verbally and in writing. User documentation skills required to effectively communicate system use to non-users
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are required. Ability to persuade with data as the foundation, debate, and commit on a path forward
- Anaplan Certificate

- Candidates must have a completed Bachelors Degree for consideration, ideally in business, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
