Job Description
Job Title: Document Control Assistant
Location: Kansas City, MO 64114
Contract length: 6-month Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $22/hr - $26/hr
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Advanced skills in MS Office; experience in Hexagon SDx, Document Locator (DL), Procore, Aconex, SharePoint, and Autodesk
- 2-5 years in Document Management
- Attention to Detail
- Time Management Skills
- Verbal and Written Communication Skill
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Manage the lifecycle of project documents
- Ensure all documents Title Block (Document Number, Title and Revision) are accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain accurate revision control of project documents
- Enforce document control procedures & standards
- Ensure documents comply with industry standards
- Ensure the documentation procedure is according to the client's requirements
- Ensure all documents meet quality and formatting standards
- Ensure that the correct signatures and approvals are obtained before the release of documents
- Ensure secure handling of confidential/sensitive information
- Communicate with the project team, internal and external
- Respond to document-related queries on time
- Track of incoming and outgoing documents
- Subject Matter Experts of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) Platform - SDX, DL, Procore, Aconex, ACC, SharePoint
- Educate and train internal and external users
- Ensure effective archiving so that project documents can be retrieved after years of project completion
