Sr. Full Stack Engineer
Location: Remote
Contract length:12 months+
Pay: $80-85 per hour W2
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to help develop the next generation of technology-driven assessments and applications. You'll work as part of an Agile engineering team, using modern cloud and full-stack technologies to build secure, scalable solutions.
This role involves hands-on development across the front end, back end, cloud infrastructure, and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to develop software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, release, and maintain:
- Back-end services
- Front-end applications
- Cloud infrastructure
- Develop and support scalable, serverless applications in AWS.
- Contribute as a technical member of an Agile development team.
- Participate in testing, production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Help ensure applications are secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in an analytical or technical field is preferred.
- 5-7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Node.js
- React.js
- JavaScript (ES6)
- AWS
- Relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
- Experience developing and implementing serverless applications on AWS.
- Experience developing software applications in a highly scaled environment.
- Experience working on Agile engineering teams.
- Experience working across multiple areas of software development, including:
- Development
- Automated testing
- Production support
- Troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use libraries and frameworks effectively while maintaining a strong understanding of the underlying code.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a cross-functional team environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning new technologies.
- Ability to understand the broader business and technical impact of development decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different teams and disciplines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work, operate independently, and meet goals.
- AWS certification at the Associate level or higher is preferred.
