Pay: $
$45-50.50 per hour

Project Scheduler - Primavera P6

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler with strong expertise in developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting complex construction, utility, or EPC projects and will work closely with cross-functional project teams to maintain accurate schedules, identify risks, and support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Establish and maintain approved project schedule baselines.
  • Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules across multiple project departments, disciplines, and workstreams.
  • Communicate project timelines, milestones, critical activities, and schedule requirements to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project schedules to support on-time completion of activities and milestones.
  • Perform regular schedule updates, progress tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain schedule metrics, dashboards, and management reports to communicate project status, performance, and trends.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, critical path impacts, and potential impacts to project milestones.
  • Partner with project teams to develop recovery and mitigation strategies for schedule delays.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and other project functions to ensure schedule alignment and accurate progress reporting.
  • Support project management with schedule analysis, forecasting, and recommendations.
  • Maintain schedule integrity and ensure schedule data is accurate, current, and aligned with project objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3-5 years of professional project scheduling experience, preferably supporting construction or capital projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Experience with construction planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and schedule controls.
  • Experience supporting utility and/or EPC projects strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling principles, critical path analysis, milestones, baselines, and schedule performance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Management, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Work Location
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.
  • Hybrid work schedule: 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote.
