Pay:
$65/hr - $68.35/hr
Duration: 18 months
Location: Foster City, CA
Schedule: Foster City or remote. Occasional travel is required to attend meetings and support training events in Foster City, CA

Role Summary:
The Program Manager, Commercial Learning + Development, Leadership Development will support the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of New to Role Learning Journey and related programs US Commercial teams. This role will partner with internal stakeholders, training teams, and external vendors to deliver high quality virtual and in-person learning experiences that build cross-functional competencies, strengthen peer leadership, and support learner engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support new to role learning programs for US Commercial employees, including virtual and in-person learning experiences, sustainment activities, cohort communications, and learner engagement touchpoints.
  • Assist with the development and execution of training focused on communication, analytics, coaching, peer leadership, and cross-functional learning.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Compliance and Legal, to ensure training materials and workshops are current, effective, and compliant with regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, action items, status updates, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, stakeholder meetings, follow-up communications, and summary reports.
  • Track attendance, learner feedback, completion metrics, and program data to assess program impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with internal training teams and external vendors to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate training calls, planning meetings, and/or workshops as needed.

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
    • Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in applications including Smartsheet, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and other collaboration tools used to develop instructional content and track classes, calendars, rosters, metrics, and project timelines.
    • Highly self-motivated and self-managed, with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and contribute effectively as part of a team with minimal coaching or supervision.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse range of tasks and issues with tact, collaboration, persistence, and sound judgment.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with employees, contractors, vendors, partners, and internal customers across a global company.
    • Strong visual, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to a variety of audiences.
    • Strong facilitation, decision-making, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Minimum Experience:
    • BS or BA Degree
    • 5+ years of professional experience in training, learning & development, project management, and/or leadership development.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
    • Experience supporting Commercial, field-based learners
    • Experience coordinating virtual and in-person learning programs.
    • Experience managing vendors, agency partners, or external project contributors.
    • Familiarity with learning metrics, dashboards, learner feedback, or completion reporting.
