Pay: $106/hr to $117/hr, DOE

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to lead the definition, delivery, and scaling of AI-enabled solutions across enterprise and scientific workflows. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, data science, engineering, and compliance teams to translate real-world life sciences use cases into production-ready, compliant AI products. The ideal candidate brings a strong product mindset, fluency in AI concepts including generative AI, analytics, and automation, and experience operating in regulated environments such as pharma, biotech, or medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Discovery
    • Own the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for assigned AI use cases.
    • Identify and prioritize high-value AI opportunities aligned to business outcomes.
    • Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements and user stories.
    • Navigate evolving problem spaces to uncover applied AI opportunities that deliver tangible business value.
  • Delivery & Execution
    • Partner with data science, engineering, and platform teams to deliver AI-powered solutions end to end.
    • Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews.
    • Ensure AI capabilities are production-ready, scalable, and operationally supported.
    • Rapidly test assumptions, refine scope, and iterate toward MVPs that balance impact, feasibility, and risk.
  • Stakeholder & Domain Engagement
    • Work directly with subject matter experts across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Medical Affairs, Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial.
    • Act as the primary translator between business needs and technical implementation.
    • Manage expectations, tradeoffs, and timing across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance
    • Ensure AI solutions are designed with appropriate controls, documentation, and auditability.
    • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Quality, and IT to align with regulatory and data governance requirements, including GxP and validation considerations.
    • Define human-in-the-loop workflows, guardrails, and success criteria for AI usage.
  • Measurement & Iteration
    • Define and track success metrics spanning adoption, value realization, quality, and risk indicators.
    • Incorporate user feedback and performance data to iteratively improve the product.
    • Support go-to-market, enablement, and change management efforts as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of product management experience across enterprise, data, or digital products.
  • Hands-on experience delivering AI-enabled, analytics, or automation solutions.
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into structured product requirements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and business teams.
  • Comfort operating in complex, matrixed, and regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments, including GxP, clinical, quality, and regulatory workflows.
  • Exposure to generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms including Microsoft, data platforms, and workflow tools.
  • Background working on portfolio-level or multi-use-case AI initiatives.

What Success Looks Like:
  • Assigned AI use cases advanced from definition through production release within the engagement window.
  • Clear, documented product requirements and prioritized backlogs that delivery teams can execute against.
  • Solutions designed with the controls, documentation, and human-in-the-loop workflows required for compliant use.
  • Defined success metrics in place and reported, with adoption and value realization measured rather than assumed.
  • Stakeholder alignment maintained across business, technical, and compliance groups throughout delivery.
