Job Title: Workday Projects & Project Billing Lead

Location: Remote - United States

Onsite Requirements: Periodic travel to Hollywood, FL. Travel will be heavier during initial requirements gathering, then approximately once per month based on project needs.

Compensation Range: $100-$120 per hour

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: Through February 28, 2027

Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Workday Projects & Project Billing Consultant to support the next phase of an active Workday Financials implementation.

With the initial prototype completed, this consultant will help refine the solution design and configuration while providing functional leadership across Workday Projects and Project Billing. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise, active certifications, and strong client-facing skills for requirements gathering and solution design.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and configuration activities across Workday Projects and Project Billing.
  • Review the existing prototype, refine configuration, and identify gaps, dependencies, and recommended improvements.
  • Partner directly with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Provide functional leadership through design validation, testing, issue resolution, and overall project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Active Workday Projects and Workday Project Billing certifications are required.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and configuring Workday Projects and Project Billing solutions.
  • Experience leading client-facing requirements gathering, design discussions, and functional delivery.
  • Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to independently guide stakeholders and drive decisions.

Additional Details

  • Approximately 20 hours per week through February 2027.
  • Initial requirements gathering may require 2-3 days onsite in Hollywood, Florida.
  • Following the initial phase, travel is expected approximately once per month, though cadence may vary based on project needs.
  • Scheduling flexibility is available to accommodate other project commitments during required travel.
