Internal Auditor
Location: Boston 4 days/wk onsite
Pay: 70-75
Duration: 6 months
Hours : 40
The contractor will provide support for State Street Bank International (SSBI) regulatory remediation and assurance activities, including:
* Assisting with the coordination and execution of remediation activities related to European Central Bank (ECB) supervisory measures and other regulatory commitments.
* Supporting remediation leads in responding to Corporate Audit requests, coordinating information gathering, facilitating evidence collection, and preparing materials for validation activities.
* Reviewing remediation documentation, controls, and supporting evidence to assess completeness, consistency, and alignment with regulatory and audit expectations.
* Supporting the development, review, and refinement of responses, status reports, implementation updates, and other communications provided to regulators, auditors, and senior management.
* Assisting with the preparation of remediation closure packages, validation support materials, and governance committee reporting.
* Performing quality assurance reviews of remediation deliverables to help ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established standards.
* Supporting issue management, control enhancement, risk governance, and other assurance-related initiatives as requested.
Must Have:
* Regulatory remediation experience, ideally within banking
* ECB / European regulatory experience strongly preferred
* Audit support, especially Corporate/Internal Audit
* Risk & controls experience
* Issue management and remediation tracking
* Evidence collection and documentation
* Quality assurance / control testing
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong written communication and ability to prepare senior management/regulatory reporting
* Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and remediation workstreams
