Job Description
Client Job Title: Sourcing - Manager
Duration: 6 months/ part time
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
6-month contract
- 8-10+ years of proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
- Industry experience in inhalation powders and medical devices, preferably with Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs) and/or medical device manufacturers
- Experience with strategic sourcing and category management
- Expertise in supplier identification, evaluation, and qualification
- Experience managing RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes
- Strong knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
- Experience with spend analysis and cost reduction initiatives
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and commercial terms
- Experience with supplier risk assessment and mitigation
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
- Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
- Knowledge of applicable FDA regulations
- Cost modeling
- Financial analysis
- Market intelligence
- Commodity analysis
- KPI development and performance tracking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Supplier and stakeholder relationship management
- Problem solving

- Strategic decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) - Not required
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - Not required
