We are seeking a Power Platform & Copilot Analyst to support business analysis and quality assurance initiatives for solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, and Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.
This role will focus on translating business requirements into clear, testable solutions and ensuring high-quality delivery through comprehensive testing, UAT support, issue triage, and collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and QA, hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to clarify requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Review requirements, functional specifications, and design artifacts to ensure alignment with business needs and testability.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases for new features, releases, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by answering questions, performing initial issue triage, and coordinating resolution efforts.
- Identify, document, and track defects; validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved appropriately.
- Maintain requirements traceability from user stories and acceptance criteria through testing and final outcomes.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for solution, process, or design improvements.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives by creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog alignment, test management, requirements traceability, and defect tracking.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support continuous improvement of QA and Agile delivery processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, and business expectations.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, software testing, or a related analyst role.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience writing user stories and defining clear, measurable acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of software testing, troubleshooting, defect management, and solution validation.
- Experience developing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Experience with or exposure to test automation tools and automated testing practices.
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or AI-enabled features within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled Microsoft platform capabilities.
- Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 certifications.
- Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience supporting UAT and working directly with business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and best practices.
