Job Title: Financial Analyst, Business FP&A
Location: Remote
Contract length: 6 months
Schedule: Fulltime
Pay: $33/hr to $38/hr, DOE


Job Overview:
Seeking a Specialist Analyst, Business FP&A to provide temporary coverage for a team member on leave. This is a hands-on financial analyst role focused on financial analysis, planning, forecasting, Excel-based reporting, and partnering with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, pick up activities quickly, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support for US Distribution
    • Collaborate with Distribution teams in Americas to collect requirements for forecast updates
    • Provide financial insights and operational support to US Distribution
    • Understand key operational drivers in warehousing, freight, labor, and inventory
    • Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, cost performance, and resource utilization
  • Forecasting & Reporting
    • Support forecasting and planning cycles for activities for US Distribution
    • Prepare consolidations, variance analysis, and performance commentary
    • Identify risks, opportunities, and drivers of forecast accuracy
  • Month?End Close
    • Support month?end close activities for US Distribution
    • Prepare accruals, reclasses, and journal entries
    • Investigate financial variances and communicate results to finance and business partners
    • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and financial policies

Required Qualifications:
  • Financial analyst experience, ideally at the Analyst or Senior Analyst level
  • Good understanding of core finance and accounting concepts
  • Understanding of financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet concepts
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort performing hands-on analysis
  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and communicate financial information clearly
  • Strong team-player mindset and ability to build working relationships quickly
  • Ability to work independently in a hands-on, execution-focused role

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Anaplan or another financial planning tool
  • Experience with Authority or similar Excel-based reporting/add-in tools
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecasts
  • Supply chain finance or supply chain experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a business environment where the candidate has partnered closely with operational stakeholders
