Job Title: Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Project Lead
Location: Chicago, IL
Onsite Requirements: Hybrid
Compensation Range: $94 per hour W2 / $110 per hour C2C
Benefits: available if working on W2 terms
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced finance transformation leader to help shape and drive the organization's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) strategy. This role partners closely with senior finance and technology leadership to advance reporting, planning, and process improvement initiatives across the business.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to shape an EPM vision and strategy aligned to company goals, including reporting requirements and enterprise structure.
- Support the selection, configuration, and implementation of EPM tools spanning consolidation, planning/forecasting, workforce planning, long-range planning, management reporting, and external reporting.
- Help establish standardized reporting practices and master data governance processes to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Connect transformation initiatives to broader business strategy through capability assessments, process design, and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute financial expertise to enterprise data governance efforts.
- Support integration activities related to acquisitions, including development of repeatable processes.
- Oversee prioritization and quality assurance for key projects and program milestones.
- Drive improvements to core finance processes such as close/consolidation, planning and budgeting, and management reporting.
- Champion continuous improvement to strengthen decision support and access to information across finance.
- 10+ years of experience leading large, complex programs with significant organizational change, preferably in finance
- 10+ years in a senior leadership capacity
- Experience defining requirements for finance technology/tools implementations (EPM)
- Strong change management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive programs independently
- Solid understanding of financial and strategic planning processes
- Experience managing risk and governance across multi-workstream programs
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and continuous improvement principles
- Combination of corporate and consulting experience
