We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting the continued growth of the Finance organization.
This position partners closely with Finance, Human Resources, and external service providers while contributing to process improvements and scalable accounting operations.

Responsibilities
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
- Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for financial reporting and ensure accuracy of general ledger activity.
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor requests, and maintaining organized documentation.
- Assist with maintaining and improving internal controls, including SOX compliance activities and documentation.
- Coordinate payroll activities with Human Resources and external payroll providers.
- Serve as a backup for procure-to-pay processes, including invoice processing, payment controls, and related accounting activities.
- Assist with accounting for non-routine transactions and implementation of new accounting guidance as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and close efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and applicable accounting standards.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry.
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience supporting external audits.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- CPA license or CPA candidate.
- Experience working in a SOX or internal controls environment.
- NetSuite experience.
- Payroll coordination experience.
- Procure-to-pay (P2P) process experience.
- Experience with international accounting standards or tax regulations.
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience streamlining accounting processes.
