Job Title: Business Operations Program Manager Location: Dallas TX Onsite Requirements: Hybrid - onsite in Dallas TX 3 days a week Compensation Range: $65-70/hr W2   Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Program Manager to serve as a strategic partner to the Director of Business Operations, driving the maturity, scalability, and effectiveness of Corporate IT Business Operations. This individual will own the Corporate Technology Governance project intake process, ensuring all technology initiatives are evaluated, prioritized, and governed through a consistent, transparent framework.
The Program Manager will oversee the end-to-end project intake lifecycle--from initial request submission and stakeholder coordination through governance reviews, prioritization, portfolio tracking, and executive reporting. They will partner with business and technology leaders to ensure projects are aligned with strategic objectives, adequately resourced, and positioned for successful execution. In addition, they will lead continuous improvements to governance processes, reporting capabilities, and operational workflows while enabling data-driven decision making across the Corporate IT portfolio.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end Corporate Technology Governance project intake process, ensuring all technology initiatives follow standardized governance procedures before entering the project portfolio.
  • Manage project intake requests by reviewing submissions for completeness, coordinating with business stakeholders, identifying dependencies, and ensuring required documentation is available for governance review.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise project intake processes, governance frameworks, demand management, or portfolio planning within an IT organization.
  • Facilitate project intake meetings, governance committees, and portfolio review sessions, documenting decisions, action items, and prioritization outcomes.
  • Partner with business leaders, Finance, PMO, Enterprise Architecture, and IT leadership to evaluate project requests based on strategic alignment, business value, resource capacity, funding, and organizational priorities.
  • Strong understanding of IT portfolio governance, project lifecycle management, and investment prioritization methodologies.
  • Track projects throughout the intake and governance lifecycle, providing status updates, identifying bottlenecks, escalating risks, and ensuring timely progression through approval stages.
  • Design and maintain executive dashboards, portfolio reports, intake metrics, and governance scorecards that provide leadership with visibility into project demand, approvals, capacity, and portfolio health.
  • Prepare executive presentations, governance materials, reporting packages, and communications for leadership meetings and investment review boards.
  • Manage governance calendars, reporting schedules, and operational cadences to ensure timely reviews and executive decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline project intake, improve governance maturity, automate reporting, and enhance portfolio transparency through continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), governance documentation, process maps, and training materials to support consistent execution across the organization.
  • Serve as the operational lead for governance activities, ensuring accountability, communication, and collaboration across business and technology teams.
