Job Description
The Planet Group is seeking a fully remote Marketing Specialist of Content & Demand Generation to join our client; a rapidly growing private investment and infrastructure company focused on the wireless telecommunications and renewable energy sectors.
- Salary: $80,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience
- Location: Fully remote (EST hours) within the United States.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.
The Marketing Specialist will lead the development, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing programs that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. This role will be responsible for managing multi-channel marketing initiatives, overseeing campaign performance, developing compelling content, and identifying opportunities to strengthen the company's market presence.
The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Director of Lead Generation and cross-functional teams to create and execute marketing strategies that support business objectives, improve customer acquisition, and drive measurable results.
Marketing Specialist, Content & Demand Generation Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support company growth objectives and increase engagement with wireless real estate owners.
- Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across direct mail, email, digital advertising, social media, web, and other marketing platforms.
- Develop and maintain an annual marketing plan and campaign calendar aligned with business priorities.
- Continuously evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies to improve performance, conversion rates, and return on investment.
- Assess market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Brand & Content Development
- Maintain and strengthen Unison's brand identity across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
- Oversee the development of marketing content, messaging, and creative assets to support lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness initiatives.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, positioning, and visual standards across all communications.
- Manage website content and digital marketing assets to improve user experience and conversion performance.
- Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness.
- Analyze campaign performance and customer engagement data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Partner with internal analytics teams to develop dashboards, reporting tools, and performance insights.
- Regularly communicate marketing results, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
- Lead Generation & Market Development
- Identify and evaluate new lead generation opportunities, data sources, and customer acquisition channels.
- Support the development of targeted marketing programs that increase lead volume and quality.
- Manage database marketing initiatives and ensure accurate tracking, segmentation, and reporting.
- Project & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and marketing partners to ensure high-quality execution and cost-effective results.
- Oversee project timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Develop and implement efficient processes that improve marketing execution, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop marketing solutions that support organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, direct marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and lead generation.
- Demonstrated experience using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance marketing strategy, content development, lead generation, campaign performance, and operational efficiency.
- Experience working with CRM platforms, SEO, marketing databases, and analytics tools.
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, Saleshandy, WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar marketing technologies preferred.
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital content strategies preferred.
- Additional language proficiency, including Spanish, French, Italian, or German, is a plus.
