Job Description

The Operations Specialist is responsible for the execution and ongoing improvement of various operational processes for our company.  You will work closely with stakeholders across manufacturing, client services, and other departments.  The Operations Specialist will maintain various operational standards, and report on these as required, to help meet both fiscal and unit-based service targets.  

  Responsibilities:
  • Material management, including responding to internal customers, order processing, stocking levels, and delivery management
  • Commercial Invoice preparation
  • Cycle counting on site service inventories
  • Sales Order Management review and status processing
  • Purchase order review and processing
  • Track all outstanding requests, delivering quality results free of errors, and prompt responses
  • Ad hoc and reoccurring reporting of KPI measures
  • Manage internal customer escalations and issues which require calls, and/or meetings   
  • Ensure shipments follow government and jurisdictional regulations
 
Education / Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Operations and Material management experience.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
Professional Skills/ Abilities:  
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of manufacturing, sales, and customers to prioritize shipments and optimize stocking
  • Experience driving process improvement initiatives to deliver step=function improvement in service levels
  • Ability to communicate and operate as a cross-functional team with sales, service, product, and other departments
  • Pay range is $23-28/hr.
