Pay Range: $30-$40/hour (Straight Time for OT & Holidays)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Pipeline Scheduler I to join a pipeline operations team supporting the scheduling, coordination, and movement of products throughout a pipeline network. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project controls, scheduling, logistics, or operations.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a willingness to learn. Success in this role comes from being detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and scheduling software quickly
  • Willingness to work overtime and be available for scheduling support as needed

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience in scheduling, logistics, transportation, supply chain, operations, or project coordination
  • Knowledge of the petroleum, pipeline, or energy industry
  • Coursework in bookkeeping or inventory management
  • Experience working with inventory reconciliation or operational scheduling

Key Responsibilities Pipeline Scheduling
  • Develop and maintain pipeline transportation schedules to maximize system utilization
  • Coordinate product movements while ensuring schedule accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Communicate schedules and operational updates with internal teams and customers

Inventory & Reconciliation
  • Monitor and manage pipeline inventory positions
  • Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end inventory balancing and reporting
  • Coordinate with operations teams to resolve inventory variances

Scheduling & Ticket Management
  • Review and validate scheduling tickets for accuracy
  • Coordinate corrections with operations and scheduling personnel
  • Monitor nominations, allocations, and scheduling changes
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation

Customer Support
  • Provide outstanding customer service to internal departments and external customers
  • Communicate planned outages, maintenance activities, and schedule changes
  • Respond to routine scheduling and inventory inquiries

Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze scheduling data, utilization metrics, and operational performance
  • Assist with root cause analysis and process improvements
  • Support department initiatives focused on efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement
  • Participate in special projects as assigned
