Warehouse Manager Direct Hire Fully Onsite
Pay Range: $65,000 – 80,000
Must Haves:
Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience
Experience in managing a team
Forklift certification
Job Summary/Description:
We are a leading e-commerce organization specializing in the direct-to-consumer warehousing and fulfillment. The Warehouse Manager will play a pivotal role in initiating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new warehouse facility. This includes the strategic development and hands-on management of warehouse operations, as well as assembling and mentoring a high-performing team from the ground up. Responsibilities:
Recruit, manage, and develop a competent warehouse team, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and continuous skill development.
Collaborate with senior operations leadership to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and lead process enhancement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
Oversee inventory audits, manage supply chain relationships, and ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
Engage in continuous process improvement, leveraging feedback from cross-functional teams to enhance operational effectiveness.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and maintain proficiency in necessary computer functions and software, including Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in warehousing or inventory control, with a proven track record of supervisory responsibilities.
Certified or able to be certified in forklift operation.
Demonstrated experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
