Strategic ERP Manager
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing distribution company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic ERP Manager to lead transformative technology initiatives. As a key member of their leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing their ERP operations to drive efficiency and support the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Technology Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligning with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
    • Lead and drive initiatives to improve ERP operations, ensuring the alignment of technology with organizational strategy.
  1. ERP Optimization:
    • Oversee the optimization of the ERP system to enhance operational efficiency and streamline business processes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive productivity.
  1. Technology Integration:
    • Lead the integration of technology solutions to enhance ERP functionality and address evolving business needs.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess, select, and implement technologies that align with the company's distribution operations.
  1. Team Management:
    • Build and lead a high-performing team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting their professional development.
  1. Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and services.
    • Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance to meet the company's expectations.
  1. Change Management:
    • Implement effective change management strategies to facilitate the smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
    • Work closely with end-users to ensure understanding, acceptance, and proficiency in utilizing ERP enhancements.
  1. Data Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize data analytics to derive actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making.
    • Implement robust reporting mechanisms within the ERP system to support business intelligence requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role focusing on ERP systems within a distribution company.
  • Strong understanding of distribution operations and the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in leading technology initiatives, ERP optimizations, and system integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7years of experience in a strategic technology leadership role with a focus on ERP systems.
  • Distribution & Supply Chain experience required
