Social Producer - Reality Labs

Pay Rate:
Up to $50/hour depending on experience
Location: 100% Remote- prefer someone located in NYC.
Duration: ~ 1 year

Our Technology client is looking for a Social Producer to join their Content Studio team. This role will focus on official brand social accounts. This role is fully remote and the preference is to be located in NYC. The ideal Social Producer will be passionate about all things virtual and augmented reality!

Social Producer Responsibilities:
  • Manage and build the social community across the various social channels.
  • Create engaging content for the social channels based on signals from the audiences. This ranges from static posts, videos, reels, and more.
  • Understand the interests and behaviors of the community and how to best create content to engage and retain.
  • Understand how to properly conduct social listening and be proactive in what is trending.
  • Identify trends, news, and other culture-relevant content to amplify across the channels.
  • Work with internal partners such as producers and editors to develop the social voice and tone.
  • Flag sensitive community comments and provide recommended actions for the next steps.
  • Oversee vendor's community management efforts, including their work replying to comments on owned content and engaging on outside content.
  • Use social insights and listening tools to identify great opportunities for engagement.
  • Work in a cross-functional/matrix-based organization to provide recaps and updates.

Social Producer Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in the social, editorial, and/or communications field.
  • Experience working with and creating content for consumer-facing global brands.
  • Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully.
  • Ability to suggest new ideas and take initiative.
  • Experience prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, adapting to changing priorities, and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience handling replies for a brand (whether for customer service or general engagement.)
  • Experience spotting opportunities as they arise in response to cultural, media, or market trends.
  • Passion for VR/AR.
  • Experience with quick-turn/rapid-response communications.
