Location: 100% Remote - Will travel to CA and NYC 10% of the time.
Pay: Up to $88 per hour DOE

Planet Interactive is looking for a Senior Public Relations Manager for our client's growing Public Relations Product team.
They are looking for a public relations contractor to manage and maintain media and internal relations as it relates to various products and as part of the larger Product PR team. This includes both proactive and reactive communications work.

Planet Interactive is looking for a Senior Public Relations Manager for our client's growing Public Relations Product team.
They are looking for a public relations contractor to manage and maintain media and internal relations as it relates to various products and as part of the larger Product PR team. This includes both proactive and reactive communications work.
Senior Public Relations Manager Key activities include:
- Day to day coverage tracking across online and social (issues, general coverage, reviews, etc.)
- Partner with PR Director and other colleagues for announcements and activities over the course of the Summer/Fall/Winter
- This includes but is not limited to: Newsroom post drafting, Q&A facilitation with Product Marketing, feature story planning with PR Director, briefing planning and staffing, U.S. and geo media coordination, manage in-bound enquiries, consumer/broadcast/social messaging, asset organization, etc.
- Momentum pitching ideation and execution including but not limited to: holiday gift guides, iPhone tips and tricks, etc.
- Develop relationships with geo product PR partners for activities such as momentum reporting, event planning, etc.
- Ad hoc requests/enquiries to internal partners such as Marcom, Product Marketing, Developer Relations
- Partner management and ad hoc coordination which may include: Developer Relations, carrier, third-party accessory makers, etc.
- Support the broader team as needed with writing, such as competitive reporting
- Ongoing seeding of iPhone and AirTag, credit requests, placement tracking, media list management with rest of team
- Potential management of in-person experiential events (along with PR colleagues, Events, Product Marketing)
- General in-bound requests: seeding, basic Q&A, asset dissemination, compilation of information
- Use Apple tools including Email, Keynote, Slack, Box, Quip, shared iCloud docs, etc.
Senior Public Relations Manager Experience/Requirements
- 8-12 years experience in consumer PR, agency and/or in-house, ideally with some time working in the technology sector
- Position can be remote, but individual must be willing to travel (to Cupertino HQ, LA, New York, etc.)
