Senior Digital Copywriter
Location: Culver City, CA
Pay: Up to $87.20 per hour DOE

Planet Interactive is looking for a Senior Digital Copywriter to join our Fortune 50 client on a 6-month contract role.

This role will require the Senior Digital Copywriter to develop copy for UX workflows as well as marketing copy.

Senior Digital Copywriter Responsibilities
  • Write messaging that covers: driving acquisition, engagement, and retention within the digital products.
  • Develop on-device messaging that captures customers and informs them about new features and content.
  • Iterate and tweak messages already developed.
  • Understand the creative brief/ scope and see where messaging can be tied together and utilized in a number of ways.
  • Write a range of testable instances of messages and infer the difference between them to get better results.
  • Work on multiple campaign-level and feature-specific messages at once and ensure timelines/ deadlines are being met.
  • Work cross-functionally with QA, Legal, and Localization teams to ensure content appears accurately for every audience.
  • Address feedback and improving the performance of our content and customer experience.
  • Develop headlines, short-form content, and in some cases a bit longer form.
  • Follow style guides already created as well as contribute to others needing to be created.

Customer Journeys Writer Key Qualifications:
  • At least 3+ years' experience working preferably in an ad agency or subscription based organization.
  • Portfolio showcasing strong headlines and mix of UX and Marketing copy.
  • Experience using language to drive measurable action within both product design and marketing environments.
  • Experience crafting messages for all aspects of subscription-based products, including marketing, education, sign-up flows, payment methods, cancellation, and re-engagement.
  • Good at balancing the demands of different stakeholders.
  • The ability to develop well-informed points of view, while also remaining open to adjustments based on input from others.
  • The ability to write from scratch, edit existing copy, and think beyond the written word with input from multiple team members.
