Hybrid schedule: 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote per week

 

Role is on the corporate accounting side and responsible for accounting & reporting for corporate entity.

 

Job Description:

Senior Associate, Corporate Accounting

 

The Role: This role is an integral part of our corporate accounting team. The Senior Associate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records and reporting the results for our holding company and certain other subsidiaries. The role will include ownership of the day-to-day accounting and responsibility for the monthly and quarterly close processes, forecasting and monitoring of expenditures, communicating results to management, as well as assisting with finance related corporate compliance matters and audit support.

 

We work in a partnership environment requiring a high degree of cooperation within the Finance group, as well as all of our functional areas.

 

Core Responsibilities:

Maintenance of holding company and subsidiaries accounting records, general ledger account reconciliation, and monitoring of intercompany account activity

Preparation of financial reporting including ownership of quarterly close process, closing entry preparation, and preparation of financial statement disclosures

Preparation of international subsidiaries’ statutory financial statements for presentation to the directors of each subsidiary and for the filing with the foreign governance authorities

Review budget-to-actual and forecasted results on an on-going basis and communicate status to management

Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management and participate in special projects

Leverage and enhance technology to create reports and analytical tools Skills and Attributes:

The candidate must be a highly motivated individual, able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently as well as within a team environment

The candidate should be a team player with solid interpersonal skills, have a constructive and collaborative attitude and be detail-oriented; strong written and oral communication skills are preferred

 

Excellent quantitative / analytical problem-solving skills, with troubleshooting abilities
