SEM Program Manager
Location: Cupertino, CA
Schedule: Onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs
Pay: Up to $65.64/hour DOE

Planet Interactive is looking for THREE SEM Program Manager's to join our well known Fortune 50 client on a 12 month contract. This role does require a hybrid work schedule with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday onsite in their Cupertino office.

The ideal hands-on SEM Program Manager's will help manage paid search marketing programs with a focus on on paid search and shopping programs across North America and Latin America. The SEM Program Manager's will join the team that is responsible for driving sales of iconic products that are available on our client's website and in stores.

SEM Program Manager Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on management of search engine marketing programs, from planning to tactical execution in bid management systems.
  • Set up, launches, tracks and scales campaigns on Google and Bing including text and Google shopping (PLA) ads.
  • Build programs that not only drive consumers shopping, but builds awareness and value propositions.
  • Track cost, demand and revenue performance against weekly and quarterly goals, and optimizes to improve value based on performance.
  • Stay ahead of the latest developments in the search engines, digital marketing landscape, and industry tools.
  • Evaluate paid search opportunities against financial goals and brand fit.
  • Test paid search campaigns as appropriate.
  • Recommend and execute on new tests and beta opportunities.
  • Provide analytical support with our Data Sciences team on campaign performance and complete recaps.
  • Find areas of opportunity to use data to tell stories and make changes.
  • Handle account re-organization as needed to improve segment keywords, match types, and audiences.
  • Manage projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment. 

SEM Program Manager Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience within different search engine marketing channels.
  • 5+ years experience in Paid Search performance marketing programs.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience managing and optimizing product feeds is highly preferred.
  • Google AdWords certification and experience with Bing Ads is preferred.
  • Marin (preferred), Adobe, DoubleClick or Kenshoo bid management system experience.
  • Knowledge and experience managing Google Shopping/Product Listing Ads preferred.
  • Spanish, Portuguese or French language skills not required, but would be advantageous.
  • Strong direct response marketing experience.
  • Highly skilled with Excel.
