JOB DESCRIPTION
Early-career position with strong growth opportunity with our client. Work with multiple project managers, estimators and superintendents as needed across multiple projects. Ultimately responsible for document control, including correspondence to owner/architects, subcontractors, and field associates. Assist in managing projects and developing estimates.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist project managers and estimators with the following:
• Strict adherence to our client's safety practices and procedures
• Project planning and implementation of activities
• Procurement of labor, materials, and equipment
• Document control including submittals, methods statements, safety reports, drawing logs and associated tracking processes
• Meeting minutes development and updates
• Subcontractor coordination
• Estimating
• Contracts administration
• Cost control
• Travel to jobsites as required by PM and/or superintendents
• Sales/customer satisfaction
SKILLS
• Strong computer and smart-phone skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to react quickly to requests of customers and superintendents
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Quantity takeoff for estimating
• Working knowledge of blueprints and construction specifications
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn is essential
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience in the construction industry preferred
