Marketing Operations Specialist
The Marketing Operations Specialist engages in constant analysis of business requirements in order to develop and improve the systems and processes that run the department. The Specialist has in-depth knowledge of the marketing services business architecture and keeps a network of contacts for inter-departmental coordination.
Location: Framingham, MA - Hybrid
Pay rate: Up to $50/hr depending on experience
Major Areas of Responsibility
• Develops and coordinates digital asset management protocol with manager
• Collaborates with relevant business partners on the implementation of new business solutions
• Troubleshoots and performs testing on various Marketing Services tools such as SharePoint, Workfront (Workflow Management), and Media Beacon (Digital Asset Management)
• Examines current processes and technology and proposes innovative solutions to foster continuous improvement
• Creates process documents, video tutorials, and step-by-step instruction sheets while also engaging and coaching teams to ensure consistent processes are in place
• Supports roll outs of new features and upgrades of existing marketing solutions by conducting formal and informal interviews with various levels of associates to gather facts and details that will become business requirements
• Completes training plans independently and provides continuous education, support and feedback to business users
• Partners with manager on developing plans and strategies to fulfill the team’s business objectives
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
?• 3+ years of experience as an operations specialist or in a similar role
• Self-motivated and proactive with ability to drive initiatives and deliver results independently.
• Can manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively with a high level of autonomy and ownership over projects
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Proven excellence in documentation skills with a strong attention to detail
• Proficient with O365 (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote)
• Familiarity with databases and reporting with PowerBI or other data visualization software
• Advanced expertise in Excel
• Prior experience with workflow and digital asset management solutions
• Strong communication, organizational, follow-up and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated strong work ethic
• Able to collaborate effectively with team members and the technical community
• Able to partner and build relationships internally and externally
• Ability to analyze, identify gaps and improve operational processes
• Data visualization experience
• PowerBI, Tableau or clickview experience
• Understanding of data analytics and how to build it from the ground up
