Planet Interactive is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to join one of clients that provides a data collaboration platform for some fo the world’s most innovative companies. The Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for driving marketing initiatives by leveraging Marketo, managing data, maintaining integration with Salesforce (SFDC), overseeing contractors, and ensuring the smooth execution of campaigns.
Pay Rate: $50-$65/hr+ depending on experience
Location: Fully Remote (must be located within the US)
Hours: 25 hours per week
Marketing Automation Manager Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns using Marketo. This includes creating workflows, designing emails, setting up landing pages, and ensuring timely delivery of campaigns to the target audience.
Data Enrichment and Management: Manage and optimize our marketing database by implementing data enrichment strategies. This involves data cleansing, segmentation, and ensuring data accuracy to improve campaign effectiveness and audience targeting.
Integration Health: Maintain the integration health between Marketo and Salesforce (SFDC). Ensure seamless data flow between the two platforms, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement necessary updates or changes to improve efficiency.
Contractor Management: Oversee contractors or external agencies involved in marketing automation activities. Coordinate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure deliverables align with marketing objectives and standards.
Lead Routing Management: Manage lead routing processes within Marketo and SFDC to ensure leads are appropriately routed to sales teams or relevant stakeholders. Implement changes as needed to optimize lead management workflows.
Issue Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies that may arise within Marketo, SFDC, or related marketing automation tools. Work closely with internal teams or vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Marketing Automation Manager Requirements:
Proven experience (5 years) in marketing automation management, with expertise in Marketo (Marketo Certified Expert).
In-depth understanding of data management principles and experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce (SFDC).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing insights and decisions.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
Experience managing contractors or external agencies is preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
