Location: Remote (EST preferred) 
Pay Rate: up $38.00/hour (DOE)
Duration: 6 Months (likely to extend) 

Planet Interactive's Higher-Education client is in need of a Junior eLearning Developer with strong experience with Storyline 360. This is a REMOTE 6 month assignment starting in April 2024! 

Junior eLearning Developer is responsible for building out the eLearning courses, that support the client and the Digital SAT Suite of Assessments. These modules are made up of digital interactive content designed to teach customers what they need to know for successful implementation and integration of the Suite, and include branching, extensive use of triggers, voice over, some JavaScript, advanced graphics, and simulations.

Junior eLearning Developer Responsibilities:
  • Develop to defined ISD standards and integrate visual design theory and elements to content.
  • Develop the clients Brand Guide.
  • Design interactivity for users to engage with content and UX.
  • Integrate Universal Design standards Software simulations.
  • Assessment development with use of feedback and remediation.
  • Quality assurance testing.
  • Train an estimated sixty thousand users across 12 states/large districts.
  • Content for the eLearning Modules including successfully plan for administering the test to students.
    • SAT Suite: The assessments, their structure and content, and related resources.
    • Alignment: How the assessments align to each other, to standards, and to curriculum.
    • SSD Accommodations: How to apply for accommodations and plan for administering the assessments to students approved for SSD accommodations.
    • Using the Reporting Portal: How to access and navigate the Reporting Portal.
    • Application: How to use data from the assessments to inform curriculum.
  • Building the eLearning Modules utilizing Storyline 360. 
  • Articulate Review is utilized for module review and feedback. SCORM 1.2 and xAPI standards are used and hosted on LMS and LRS.

Junior eLearning Developer Qualifications
  • Designer who can immediately apply their development experience with Storyline 360 in a small, fast-paced team.
  • Experience developing throughout the instructional design life-cycle in a production environment.
  •  Must be able to work in both a collaborative and individual environment following a rapid prototyping-type development model.
