Buyer with Epicor Experience
Our client is a prominent vehicle manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality vehicles for their customers. As they continue to grow and expand their operations, they are seeking a Buyer with Epicor experience to join their procurement team. This individual will play a crucial role in sourcing and procuring materials and components using the Epicor ERP system to support their manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
  1. Procurement Management:
    • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability criteria.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements for the company.
  1. Purchase Order Processing:
    • Generate and process purchase orders in the Epicor ERP system accurately and efficiently.
    • Monitor order status and delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.
  1. Inventory Management:
    • Collaborate with inventory control and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or excesses, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
  1. Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers/vendors to foster collaboration and resolve issues promptly.
    • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
  1. Epicor ERP Utilization:
    • Utilize the Epicor ERP system to manage procurement-related activities, including supplier management, purchase order processing, and inventory management.
    • Leverage Epicor reporting and analytics tools to track procurement metrics and performance indicators.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in using the Epicor ERP system for procurement and inventory management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a buyer or procurement role, with specific experience using the Epicor ERP system.
