Infor LN Technical Consultant

Our client is a large consulting firm that specializes in global professional services with leading capabilities in digital, cloud, and security technology.
This client requires all submitted candidates to be vaccinated. Ideally, the client needs this professional to be onsite 50% of the time in San Antonio, TX, this role is hybrid (remote and required travel to San Antonio, TX.)
 

Overview:
  • The candidate needs technical and functional knowledge of the ERP system.
  • Technical – The role is 40% Technical. LN tool knowledge needed, program interface, integration, data migration, and data scripting, will not be doing coding because that will be done offshore. 
  • Functional –   The role is 60% Functional. Business processes and operations of the ERP system, understand the manufacturing process.
  • Automotive assembly line knowledge in ERP is a plus (or from other discrete manufacturing backgrounds).
  • This is not a fresh implementation.
  • The job is onsite in San Antonio 50% of the time. However, the amount of time on site could decrease as the project progresses.
  • The candidate should understand Infor functionality, an example: Is a report doable, and how to get the report. If it is not doable, how can they make something happen?
  • This job could expand into dealing with multiple clients.
Daily Activities:
  • Well versed with Infor LN Cloud suite - Automotive (Infor CSA) or with Infor LN 10.6 and above.
  • Four to five years of experience in Infor LN ERP as a Technical Consultant.
  • Create technical specifications, create and execute test cases, data loading, and set-up.
  • Worked extensively on Development and customization, Migration, and Extensions.
  • Infor Ln Tools, Studio,  Admin, and Implementation with hands-on experience in Infor LN - DOM, OCM, View Modeler, Infor OS, ION, Workflow, BOD/BDE Development, ION API, ION Mapper, Scripting, XSLT, IDM, and Ln Studio, Webservices.
  • Performance tuning, Ability to debug, read the logs, bshell traces and analyze CGP.
  • Good Exposure to ION integration between Infor and non-Infor products using multiple ION connectors.
  • Good functional knowledge in Infor Ln Workbench, Order Management, Warehouse Management, and Manufacturing Modules of Infor LN.
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills to work with the End Users and Business Leads.
  • Collaborate and lead meetings with Business and Technical architects.
  • Ability to lead a team of developers.
